Well I guess you can just resign yourself to the fact that "It's Worth What Someone Will Pay For It". It depends on so many factors but it is a very well liked older model and I've seen a lot of guys calling for a Sprint Run of the RENEGADE. It has been a past favorite of mine and I even EDCed one for a little over a year. If they made a version of the RENEGADE with one of the newer/better blade steels I would get one immediately. I've always loved the overall design.
The RENEGADE and JD Smith both are favorite user models.
The value of your RENEGADE depends on a lot of factors. Some of the old, original RENEGADE models were made at the GOLDEN, CO USA Earth plant and they are considered very collectible in new condition. Most of the ones you find now a days are the Japan made units. As far as I know they were all made with GIN-1 blade steel which is great in Spyderedge but has a lot to be desired in plain edge.
Having the original factory box helps when trying to sell an older collector model. IT's little Brother the BLACKHAWK model is getting even tougher to find in the past 5 years or so.
