renew gold membership problem

I renewed my gold membership via paypal on Monday, and it is still not showing up. I suspect it is because I forgot to put my forum name in the payment, so my email is not associated with it. Would be grateful for assistance.

I think you have to go to your settings and select paid subscriptions. Then select gold or whatever you paid for. I think "registered" member is always selected by default

I already paid through some other paypal related path though, and updating the subscriptions leads me to another paypal window to pay again.
 
It doesn't appear as though the payment has gone through. Depending on how you paid they sometimes have to be manually upgraded by the owner.
 
You will probably need to include the transaction number here in this thread so that Spark will know who you are.
 
Having the same problem. And when I go to the link in my profile to supposedly activate my gold membership, I keep getting this message:

"There are currently no public usergroups available for you to join."

I double checked - the Paypal transaction has been completed.
 
Smithhammer, PayPal transactions have to be manually input by Spark. By burying your post here in someone else's thread, you are practically guaranteeing he won't see it.

Please start your own thread in this Tech Support forum and include your PP transaction number.
 
just bumping this, as it is not resolved yet. I have messaged Spark, no response as yet. I've heard he is very busy now. Are there any other moderators or people who could help?
