Renewable light pads and light sticks?

Is anyone familiar with The Amazing Light? They claim to be rechargeable with sunlight or flashlight and to give light all night long. They can apparently be reused forever. It sounds like a good trick, if their claims hold up.

Interesting stuff. They don't appear to be bright enough to replace a torch or a glow stick, but essentially unlimited use (at a reasonable price.)

Kind of like a "comfort light"

Nor do I.

I can see them as an emergency backup which won't quit when the batteries die.
