renewal activation help

yesterday i got an email saying my member account was activated but it still shows as a registered rather than a platinum member
all that shows in the users cp is the bounced email group

there is no options available other than the bounced email group

that's strange, because if your membership has been activated, the group should appear there.

Did you go to Group Memberships in the left hand column of your User CP?

You can Click Here to access it.

Your membership has not been upgraded yet. When it is you will see the option to join the Gold Membership Group, and members who click on your name will see the option of sending you a Private Message. (That's how I know your membership has not been upgraded yet.)

thats what i was thinking but then why the email saying the subscription was activated ?

probably just an auto response email.

i believe the memberships have to be manually upgraded.
