Renewal of Gold Membership for International Members.

G'Day, I thought this forum had become enlightened with International Blade Forums Members payment of membership fees.
My gold membership is due for renewal. "Due to extreme levels of International Credit Card Fraud no credit card membership payments will be accepted by Credit Card"..i.e. Mastercard or Visa. No payments of course are accepted by Paypal. I have had some 1000 successful U.S. transactions using Paypal with U.S. company's/individuals.
Q: If I am a fraudster paying membership by Mastercard then my 'false' membership could be cancelled so I do not get to enjoy the Gold Membership benefits, right? or am I missing the point here?
International Money Orders are very costly as is the cost of physically posting to a U.S. address not to mention the real risk of negotiable Money Orders 'going missing' in the postal system as I experience items never showing up from time to time, in addition to the time delays of at least a fortnight posting from Oz to U.S.
I have just gone through the whole system of attempting to pay my renewal with the above results. When I originally joined I had to go through the BS of sending payment by Paypal to another member who then had the BS of registering me on my behalf and making payment by credit card! because he is in the U.S.
I thought my U.S. $30 was supporting Blade Forums and not the other way round.
Do Blade Forums want International members or indeed are we even welcome? I trust this posting can stay in Schrade forum where I do all my postings and not flung to another less conspicuous section as I have been encouraging all Oz Schrade members to take out gold memberships. Hoo Roo

P.S. I'm an active paid up member of Australian Knife Club and I understand the reverse does not happen in Oz for our International members,so why Blade Forums?

Why are you posting at all? Do you want a resolution of the problem, or do you just want to vent?

If you want to work it out, this should be posted in Service & Support. Please yourself.

Esav,The link you gave me is to whingers complaining about the cost of membership..with all due respect I do not and never have had any problem with cost and actually consider it reasonable ,I have a problem with actually making the physical payment which is my desire and after going through all the BS last year using other US member had hoped something had changed. Why crush the nut who brings the problem to your attention, you deal with this every day...I only deal with it once a year so do not understand the shortcuts or longcuts. If you call this simply venting its why it wont change. Hoo Roo

Larry, check out Spark's link above, it looks pretty straightforward.

Gold Membership Paid for using Checkout. Could you not add the words 'you only accept International Credit Card for payment of Blade Forum Membership' immediately after your statement you do not accept International Credit Cards in checkout to clarify.
