Renewal problems.

Today I unsuccessfully tried to renew my membership, with an upgrade from gold to platinum status.

I got this message:

"An error occurred while trying to report this transaction to the Merchant. An e-mail has been sent to the merchant informing them of the error. The following is the result of the attempt to charge your credit card.

This transaction cannot be accepted."


Any ideas of what the problem could be?

Have you ever used the automated system before? Most of us for'ners can't use this system because it checks the shipping address. Most European cards validate with Cvx2 numbers instead of shipping address.
 
The last time I renewed, I think I did it directly on the 1SKS site. Is that still possible, or is the automated system the only possibility?
