Renewing Annual Membership

VG's membership expires on 11/8, so I went ahead and paid the renewal fees last night. I did receive the email confirmation that the renewal had been accepted. It still shows that his membership expires on 11/8/2006. Will it roll over to show the renewal membership expiration date on 11/9?

My "assumption" when renewing was that it would just add on to his current membership.

Just looking for confirmation.

Yes, I was logged in under VG's account. This is the info I received in the confirmation email:
