Reno police prohibit assisted openers

Just got word that the Reno Police Department has forced retailers,
to pull all assisted opening knives from their sales floors.
This source is from a recall notice to Wal-Mart stores and includes
the Buck line and the Kershaw Union series.

Thanks Reno for punishing the innocent.

Assisted opening is when you manipulate the blade, say 35%, before a tension bar engages and "flings" the blade the rest of the way out. Very useful when one hand is full or you're fishing. Kershaw Ken Onion Series, Cuda Dominator/Aftermath/Heat, Benchmade Apparition... are a few you can research. Hope this helps
