Repair and Hang Axe Head With Dented Eye?

I bought myself an Ebay axe head. It arrived today, and there's a problem with it. The top of the eye is slightly deformed. It looks like someone hit something with the axe, sideways.

A new handle will go into the bottom of the axe head just fine, but the upper opening is partially obstructed now, so getting the axe handle to go all the way through without hacking it up will be impossible.

Is there any way to fix an axe head with a dented eye, or am I going to have to make the seller take this thing back? I could put it in a vise and try to reopen the eye with a big wrench.

I would find someone with an oxyacetylene torch and have the get the eye red hot while keeping the bit cool, the try to bend it out. I would like to see pics though. Is it a no-name head or a black raven or some such head. Or you could give it to me.:)

Heat-N-Bend is the way to go since there are no stamps on the side of the eye. Just KEEP THE BIT COOL! or it will be a P.I.T.A. to re-temper.
