My coworker has a Leek 1660 with a bent tip. how would I go about straightening this out?Help please.

It really depends on how bent - is it just pushed over a little or is it creased. If it's slightly bent I would use a small ball-peen hammer and the anvil with a piece of hardwood as a buffer (to prevent damage to the blade). I would not heat. If it is creased, the tip will likely be lost when you attempt to straighten.

thanks ken, sorry for the late reply,I went to try and straigten it as soon as i read it.
I tried the hammer with the black of wood with no luck, then i used a shop cloth and a pair of pliers and it was looking pretty good but i was not satisfied,I trird bending it a little more and well the tip broke off. After some filing it's now a tanto point, looks good.
