Repair of a Case XX 5265SAB?

Does anyone here do knife repair, or know who does? I have and old Case XX 5265SAB that the rear hinge pin needs to be deone or replaced; Someone before me tried but didn't do a good job of it. I sent the knife to the Case factory repair shop. Now I know they will not repair for free if it's been altered, such as mine has. I even sent a note with explaining that I know it's been messed with and am willing to pay for the repairs. Well, that did alot of good; they just sent it back and said they couldn't repair it because of the alteration. So I would appreciate any help here guys!! Thank You!
 
Might try in the traditional or services offered forum, probably more on track there. I have had an issue with a case recently also, and got some good advice on the traditional forum, including folks who could fix it for me, but I actually got enough info that I was able to fix it myself.
 
When you say traditional, do you mean the traditional folders and fixed blade forum? And where is the services offered forum?
