Repair Question for Joe Houser

I have a buck cadet with very good blades but badly dented and srcatched bolsters. I managed to get a little off with steel wool and flitz but still not satisified. Will Buck replace the bolsters and if so would it cost more than a new knife? You can get a new one from SMKW for about 25.00. Does anyone know anything about Buck's repair charges?

If you send it back with a note, the warrantee repair department would happily re-polish the bolsters free of charge. They may need to have the scratches sanded out, but that's an easy fix.
