repair question

I have a Patriot that needs a minor repair.

When I went to unscrew the thumb disc, instead of unscrewing the screw snapped off. Seems like it was probably cross threaded when it was installed.

Normally, I would fix this myself but it's such a tiny screw I don't want to mess up the blade LOL.

Should I send the entire knife to Emerson, or just send the blade for repair??

The knife has been customized & I have no problem paying to have it repaired.

I would just call them, I would think that as long as the blade has not been changed or reground they would fix it for free; I have never needed to send anything to them but they stand behind their product. It should be an easy fix, in my opinion. Good luck, that's a nice blade.
 
I would give them a quick call to find out if you should just send the blade or the entire knife. 310-539-5633
 
Called today, they said "for legal reasons" they needed the whole knife.

I will send it out today by UPS.
