Im Marine and a Veteran of OIF,I purchased and carried the USMC serated KA-Bar and it was on my side through Operation Phantom Fury (2nd Invasion of Falujah Nov 2004) and the rest of my Marine Corps career,It was stolen after I gotten out,i since found the thief and it is back with me,however the destroyed the finish and used what looks like a grinder by the marks on it to try and sharpen it...Id like to have it refinished to pass it on to my son..

If it were mine, I would get it cerakoted. There are plenty of places that can coat it in any color you want, and it is great for protecting against rust, etc. If the metal itself is damaged, I have no idea how to fix that.
