I had recently sent my old Robeson 622426 eureka jack to Glenn for some repair work as the scales were beginning to come loose, and there were some of the typical cracking around a couple pins.
As I carry this knife from time to time, I didn't want a chunk of scale to snap off. Even though it's not all that valuable of an old knife, I figured it may be worth fixing, or retiring. It's one of my favorite old pieces in my small collection.
I sent it off to Glenn for a look see and he was able to get the gaps and movement, as well as the cracks all stabilized and fixed up for me. Buffed it all up as well. Very nice repairs that aren't even really detectable where it was done. I'd suggest if you've a knife you've been considering repairing or modding, Glenn would make a great contact for your work. I know his work has been highlighted in other threads too which encouraged me to send my knife to him.
I also want to acknowledge his generosity as well, as he's demonstrated many times here in our little corner of the world, as he felt he didn't really do much, so wasn't asking for payment. I'm not sure Glenn realizes how much he's actually doing to bring cheer and goodwill to us. Makes this a nice place to hang out.
Thanks Glenn!
