Does anyone besides myself repair folders? I have done several for my friends as well as put a sharp edge on them...without charge. It's just something I enjoy doing.

I bought a bag of 15 used SAK's off ebay. Five of them cleaned right up. Took the scratches off with a cloth and jewelers rough. The rest I have taken apart to modify swap tools and put costume scales on.
The SAK's really got me started. I have always cleaned up and resharpened old knives but now I doing mods like putting stag scales on a Sod-buster.

I get alot of not-so-new knives, some with broken scales, severly used blades, etc. I had been putting these in an ammo can along with cheap junkers and such.

But after seeing some of the oustanding work by Kaleb, Dale, and others, I have been more inspired to take another look at those old dogs.

I'll post some pics when I have some projects finished...

Charles, I have a Schrade 34OT I would like tightened up. I have heard everything from putting it in a vise, to lightly tapping it with a small hammer. Trying to get some more ideas before I ruin it. Thanks.
