Im not sure if this is the right place to put this thread or not but here goes.
I came across my old Boy Scout Knife ( Imperial) the other day. Its probably been stored away for at least 20 years. Im thinking it must have gotten hot while packed away. The cellulose scales have shrunk and theres a warp on one side where the scale has a large gap from the liner. Is there a way for me to relax the cellulose scales and get rid of that gap? Or will that just tend to shrink the cellulose even more and possibly cause the scales to fail around the pins?
