Repeal or amend. Thoughts?

The Federal switchblade knife law.

With switchblade knives being legal in thirty states, should we work to have the federal law repealed or just amended to allow commerce between those states in which the knives are legal?
 
The law, formally referenced as United States Code Title 15, Chapter 29 (consisting of statutes § 1241 though § 1245), categorically should be repealed in its entirety. It was a worthless law back in the 1950s when it was passed by ignorant fools who had watched West Side Story and Rebel Without a Cause too many times and based it on no evidence or crime statistics of any kind. And it remains a worthless law today, in a nation where handguns are legal to carry without permit in 5 states, rendered completely obsolete by new folding knife designs such as thumb studs and assisted openers that fall outside the law, mocked by law enforcement who know that most knife crime is committed with cheap fixed bladed kitchen knives, and remaining completely unenforced for at least 3 decades. Repeal! Repeal! Repeal!

what he said, it's absolutley worthless
 
It is going to be legal to possess and carry any knife in Alaska by the end of the month.
