Hey guys, just found this forum so thought I'd ask a question that's been tickling me.
I grind free hand, all custom knives and all different. Seen plenty of videos of people using jigs, presumably for ease of repeatable bevels. Not got one, but tempted.
My question is though, how does a jig allow for the bevel to be parallel to a blade edge that curves at the tip or is not a straight blade. Think a drop point blade, like the image below. Is this even possible with a jig? Any video tutorials about or is it a case of building a jig and just experimenting?
Thanks!
