I am thinking of ordering some p-bronze washers from knifekits to replace the nylon ones.....any ideas?

1/2 X 3/16 X 0.020 might be right......

Why do you want to replace them? Phos-Bronze will wear out. The Nylatron washers are perm. lubricated and will last a lifetime.

Yup, I could be making a mistake...though blade would be less likely to wobble.....try out first....can always go back to the Nylons.

Do you really favour the nylon so much over the p-bronze?

I do. Having used both, I find the action of the Nylatron (not nylon- there is a difference)washers becomes much smoother over time. Plus, after reading Robert Turzola's book on how he builds his folders, he is the one who started using Nylatron in his ATCFK's.:)

All Emersons take a washer that is 0.25 ID and 0.030 thick. Some are 0.625 OD while others are 0.500 OD I've never measured the ones on a Commander but I would guess they are 0.625 OD

Yester5 is correct that the Nylatron's are all around the better washer. I have used phosphor bronze in a a CQC-8 as an experiment and found little to recommend them. They do add a slight bit of stiffness for prying (not something I recommend doing with folders) but add nothing for reducing "wobble". Once broken in, and assuming clean bearing surfaces, and a bit of lube, you should be able to get a tight lock up and smooth opening from any Emersons with Nylatrons.

If you do decide to go after some phosphor bronze washers, you will find the proper size tough to find in lots of less than 100.

Thanks for your replies, gentlemen....after reading them, I think I'll stick with the nylatron washers for now.
