I have an Infidel that has never had much zip (I'm not the first owner). It seems to be getting weaker too, even though I store it with the blade open and seldom fire it. Is there a way for me to replace the firing spring to give this thing some more life?

Sending it back to Benchmade is probably the best bet, but if you aren't an LEO or military or such, I don't think they will/can help you.

From http://www.benchmade.com/about_knives/warranty.asp :

Note: Any automatic knife returned for Warranty or LifeSharp service from outside of Oregon must also include either a signed copy of the "Auto Knife Opening Acknowledgement Form", your web account username if you have already accepted the AKO Acknowledgement, or be returned through an authorized Benchmade dealer. No exceptions will be made.

Maybe if you post this in the Auto knives forum someone there can help. You may need to send it to someone that Benchmade considers a qualified owner to get it done as they don't send parts directly to customers.
