today i broke a pin on my jaguar.

fortunately, my despair lasted only a few seconds. i successfully replaced it with a finishing nail as recommended on www.balisongxtreme.com.
thanks a lot for putting up a great site, clay!

Yea it works well , i have had problems with hammering the handle too tightand the handle just fold's so be careful.

o yea dont steal my name!

I agree, Clay's method works great but I differ one one point: I don't use spacers. Yes, I know it will be wedged shut directly afterwards but do the re-pinning in the afternoon and sit in your easy chair the rest of that night rocking the handles back and forth. Eventually, you will be able to swing it again and in my experience, it will now swing as smooth as oh say a BM42. I have a Jag that I did like this weeks ago that still swings smooth and is in alignment perfectly. In fact since I'm not afraid of damaging it, I use it more than my 42.

yes, i tried using spacers at first, but it turned out that i didn't have anything that was as thin as i would have liked. also, i needed to compress the new pin lengthwise so that it would become thicker in diamater. so, i removed the spacers, and was just a little more careful. works dandy.
