Replacement Assisted Knife springs.

So I've got a few assisted knives now and I'm wondering about replacing the springs after they get worn out. A year or too ago the spring broke on my cheap joker knife and I'm afraid it will happen to some of my other knives. I'm not so much afraid of my Kershaw Shallot because I know they will send you new springs, but I'm wondering if there is anywhere I could buy some generic springs for my cheaper knives? I've seen coil springs and leaf springs for sale but not the wavy style used in assisted knives.

How cheap knives are you talking. It would probably be cheaper to just buy another knife.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. I mean its not a huge deal and I don't even know if they'll break but I'd rather fix things buy a new things in general, you know? I was just hoping there was somewhere I could get a bag of them for a few bucks.

That's just one of the downsides of off brand assisted knives. Short of buying suitable gauge steel wire and shaping and heat treating it yourself, you're pretty much outta luck when a spring goes. If you're lucky, the knife has a good detent that will keep the blade closed, and you can continue to use it as a manual opener. Other than that, I can only give the same advice already given: grab yourself a new one. :(
