Why not just buy another knife? Its not like its expensive....

i personally dont like the blade, so i was thinking of fitting it with a better piece of steel.

Welcome to the forums, you might have better luck posting in the willing to buy forums in the exchange and or contacting a forum Craftsmen. Off the top of my head I don't know anybody that could forge an Opinel blade for you but someone will probably chime in on that.
