replacement blade for zt 0300

Anyone ever send a 300 for a replacement blade? Purchased one from a certain individual, didnt inspect it as i should have, waited a month before i started edc'ing and realized blade tang where lockbar meet was grinded down and releases while in use. I know my BIG mistake for not thouroughly checking it, but does anyone know if i send it in will they replace it and what might it cost? Not really looking at having a $170 paper weight,Thanks guys
 
so it was GROUND down? who would do that?

Its my understanding that cost is anywhere between 50-90 dollars depending on blade steel for a zt. Just what i have heard
 
zt told me it would cost 30 bucks for a reblade, for the 0300 and that it would be a sterile blade, as long as it's not a blem zt will take care of you, I have a 0300 that I scratched the blade up pretty bad (1st reprofile on edge pro and didn't tape it) so I called them and was told about the 30 bucks for a sterile reblade. I would send it in It may not even need a new blade, they may just be able to replace the lockbar, but if they do need a new blade it would only cost 30 bucks and they may not charge you, since the lock is failing, they were gonna charge me because mine is only cosmetic, and the lock still works fine.Zt has one of the finest warranties in the business send her in and they will fix it right up for you.
 
Thats what im saying i emailed the individual, since it was advertised "like new", but have gotten cold shoulder for past 4 days. its technically my mistake for not throughly checking it but id at least like a "woops" or "my mistake " back. Anyways besides the point guess ill send it in rather spend 30 then another $200. Thanks guys
