Replacement bushing/washer for Cryo?

I somehow lost the small washer that fits in my Cryo while I was lubing it. I've looked everywhere, but just can't find it. It's the one that isn't brass. I think there are three washers in that, 2 brass and one some other darker material. I asked Kershaw if they'd send me a washer but they said that because the knife is manufactured in China I'd need to send the whole knife to them. I figured that if someone could measure the bushing in theirs I could go to a hardware store and get something. Or perhaps it's a standard size? I'm not sure what the Chinese equivalent would be, but wouldn't they use a standard size in production? Anyway, if it's just the thickness that I can't find I could lap the thing.

looks like buying the import kershaws means no replacement parts good to know it will influence future purchaces I will measure the washer when I get to work on monday.

Thanks. I got a kick out of one of the Hinderer retail stores that were offering "XM-packages" that included an XM-18, an Extreme Duty pen, and a Cryo. Heh.

They were sold out, of course.

looks like 9mm outside 5mm inside and thickness is .36mm or in inches .35 outside .197 inside and thickness .014 hope this helps.

Thankyou, Sir! I wonder if I can use the nylotron washers .5 x .187 x .015 ? Since I have to pay a gob of shipping anyway I was thinking about ordering a bunch of them in different sizes to, well I don't know, experiment with. Maybe de-assist the Cryo and see if those new washers make it a mini-560 or something. I'm pretty sure the inside diameter is really for a 3/16ths pivot and many of those have .5 outside diameter. I suppose it it's nylotron and it's too big on the outside I can always cut it to a hex shape or something with an Xacto (or a Leek). Anyway, now I don't feel so bad about losing the stupid washer.

I have these washers that another forum member (Phydeaux) generously gave me a while back. I was trying to find replacement washers for a Tenacious. He sent a few of varying sizes, and these seem to match the measurements bertosknives got (see pics below). Phydeaux said they are between 0.015" and 0.020" thick. These are made of Delrin, which is not quite as slick as PB or teflon, but they worked pretty smoothly in the Tenacious.

If you want to try these before you start ordering bunches from elsewhere, email me your address, and I'll send them to you.
