Would I really be charged $20 plus $5 shipping for a replacement clip? (based on the Spyderco Web site for non-warranty repairs)
I recently popped the clip on my Endura 4 while removing it from a pack. I pulled outward, rather than upward, without paying attention, and the clip snapped at the bend right by the screws. I am not faulting the clip, rather my inattention, but I'm not sure I want to spend a whole lot of money to get the clip replaced.
Would Spyderco send me a replacement clip if I just send them a check? Do I need to send in the knife as well?
I guess I could call first, but I thought I might get some answers before I call and make a fool out of myself.
Thanks for any info,
Daniel
