Replacement clip for original Yojimbo?

I dug up my old Yojimbo in smurf bone when looking for other stuff. Kinda forgot I had it. Great knife, but the pocket clip is bent. It's still functional, but I can't get the thing perfectly flat. Bad design, IMO. I get that the hole is there to match the dimples for grip manipulation, but it's also a weak spot, destined to bend.

I did call Spyderco, and they ran out of replacements a long time ago (I expected as much). I searched for custom/aftermarket replacement clips and didn't find any specific to the original Yojimbo. I also searched BF and Spyderco forums, and couldn't find an answer.

However, I did find plenty of 2 screw deep carry clips for newer knives (Yojimbo 2, PM2, etc) Does anybody know if the spacing of the 2 screws is the same as the original Yojimbo? I don't have any Spydercos that I can compare it to.

Alternately, can anyone recommend a custom clip maker I can send the knife to and have one made?

Thanks.

I know a pops clip rode on mine for a while.

The detent on mine, however doesn't keep the blade closed securely enough for every day carry.

I don't want to hijack the OP's thread but with regards to the lack of detent strength on the Yojimbo... it can be adjusted.

The arrow in the below attached pic is indicating the detent ball...

The two arrows below point out the bend in the compression lock bar that can be tweaked to increase OR decrease the detent pressure the ball receives. An increase in the bar bend will result in greater pressure and a stronger detent. Reducing the bend... less pressure and weaker detent.

With ALL things... make any adjustment in small increments and check the result often.
