Recommendation? Replacement for BM 940

hello all

i carried a BM 940 for many years (like ten!). although i have a few others, it was my go to knife. unfortunately, i lost it recently and despite searching i could not find it (probably buried under many tons of gravel, impossible to recover).

i am hesitating on buying another to replace the one i lost. i know i like the 940 but am wondering if there are any other alternatives i should consider.

i like the axis lock and would prefer something similar. i like the narrow body but am not set on it exactly.

what else should i be looking at? thanks!

There's nothing quite like the 940. Maybe a mini crooked river if you want something with more wood in the handle.

the new mini adamas benchmade is pretty nice and easy to carry, its actually pretty small compared to how massive the original one was

Buy yourself the carbon fiber 940. As stated there is nothing else like it. If you buy something else it's not gonna feel like a 940 and you will still be disappointed.
