Replacement for my Delica...?

I may have just bought it; the Benchmade 555. I can't wait to see how the steel sizes up next to the VG-10 in my Delica 4, which has been both a sentimental knife for me as well as a 'beater'. I certainly wanted it to be well used, not quite abused. Packages, food, cardboard, wood, plastic... It has seen a lot of action. I'm actually thinking about making a 'comparison' review between the two, since they can be had for a similar price-- and given that I've had about a solid year's worth of carry time with my Delica since I bought it, the 555 has a LOT to live up to.

EDIT

Forgot to ask this first time writing this; has anyone else had a knife similar to their well loved EDC appear? What was the result? Did it become the replacement, were both used equally or was one just favored over the other?

Actually, you just posted part of my EDC rotation. I have and use both of those knives on a regular basis. The handle on the Grip felt a little short at first but that seemed to quickly go away.
I like them both and at this point it would be hard for me to choose which one performs better. The Delica gets the nod for favorite but that's more because I've been carrying a Delica of some sort since 1998.

Usually just carry new one for a bit to see how I like it and new toy factor. After that sometimes carry both or pick one that seems more suited to where I'm going/what I'm doing. Nice area maybe put thinnest in my pocket beside wallet, outdoors or bad urban area longer blade/thicker handle. Thicker tip when I do things outside the house and thin tip, lightweight if staying in house all day.
