Replacement for my Delica4?

Few days ago I hung out with my cousin, and we were talking about knives... and he ended up giving me his old beat up ATS 34 sebenza, and I gave him my almost brand new Delica 4 (he needed a serrated edge). Some trade huh?

Anyway, now I need a replacement for my Delica because the sebenza is a little large to carry all the time. I don't want to buy the same knife despite how much I liked the Delica... want to try something new. Any suggestions for a similar kind of knife to the Delica?

Just grab ya one of those new Calypso IIIs that just came out. I think its going to be one of the all time best Spydercos personally.

Who carries the Calypso III right now? New graham and gpknives both don't seem to have it...

What are the differences between that and the D4?

You can take that old beat up Sebenza and send it back to Chris Reeve knives and they can recondition it and have it looking good as new for a very reasonable price. (I'm sure one of the Sebenza guys can tell exactly what they charge-seems like it was less than 40 bucks)

You might take a look at the Spyderco Centofante 4. The thin Wharncliffe blade is a great cutter and the price is very reasonable. ($43.95 @ knifeworks.com) http://www.knifeworks.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=6990

You can buy them from Spyderco's store right now for full retail which means they will be out very soon to dealers. One of the dealers here contacted me just recently and said he had like 18 coming and expects them next week.

I actually did send in that sebenza a few days ago.

Got any pictures/information about the Caly III?

Might want to take a look at the G10 and FRN Byrd knives as well. NGK has them.
