Replacement for my old SAK

Hello,
I decided to replace my SAK after many years of everyday use. Mine SAK is some 6 function model without scissors, and although it's one of the best knives I've ever used, it just sucks that there are no scissors, but I hate those SAK scissor springs that break everytime they are used. So, what I am looking for now, is some SAK alternative that has reliable scissors without those springs. Are there any out there? I only know about Boker and Ruike, but those are pretty expensive for my EDC use (food prep, opening packages/letters/bottles, cans...) or they don't have scissors.

The Wenger line of SAKs have scissors that use the backspring rather than the leaf spring like the Victorinox. The S14 Evolution might be the model that is closest to your old one. The Wenger scissors work fantastically, because of, but also with the caveat that they're serrated. While they'll cut paper and fabric and even some tougher/thicker materials with ease, perhaps better than the Victorinox, the cuts won't be as clean because of the serrations. Thus, they kinda suck for trimming your fingernails - they'll cut your nails easily but now you'll have serrated finger nails.

The Victorinox Delemont series has the same scissors as the old Wenger. Can't really replace as SAK ;)
If you carried one for many years - you are already a SAK-o-phile for life.
Check Sakwiki for all the models of the Delemont series - you WILL find one you like.

I've never had Victorinox scissor springs break, but I've had a couple twist and deform to the point where they're no longer functional. Replacement springs are easy to get and aren't expensive.

Since Victorinox replacement scissor springs are something like $5 for a six-pack, why not just replace the broken spring if you like everything else about it? I have broken the springs on several Leatherman scissors, and while they have a lifetime warranty, you have to send it to them to fix. I wish they worked like SAKs, where I could just replace the springs myself, cheaply and easily.

Thanks, I will look into delemont series of SAKs. The reason why I don't want to bother with replacement springs is just that you don't carry them with you all the time and while the replacement itself is not very hard to do, it looks time consuming.
