I just got my new Buck Paradigm Pro folding knife. has green grips with a black stripe. Looks okay but i would prefer black G10 grips on both sides. Does any one know if they are available for this knife and where I can order them?

I think my knife has the 3.25" blade.

Love the blade release mechanism. Strong snap to it. Effortless. More so than my ZT 560.

BDD,

I am NOT the modern, big knife person here. But, I want you to get some feedback. The Paradigm has been discussed as a complicated operating knife. Mine is unfailing and works like a charm, now that I have it a couple years I wonder why I need it, oh well maybe I will sell it..... But , at the moment you will likely have to have 'Custom" grips made. There are a couple of three guys that do that sort of thing around here, but I have never heard or seen one so modified. So, maybe one of them will at least be willing to talk to you on the possibility ($$$). This should kick your thread question to the top again and lets see what shows up.........300Bucks

Good Luck... I had to beg and plead to get one of the custom knife makers to do a set of scales for the Vantage. I got them and love um... The Paradigm is to complicated of a knife and to take one apart in order to make a prototype set of scales is verging on crazy or impossible. There's too many moving parts. Check the bay and pick up a custom Paradigm from the factory. They have a few fancy models out there for a few hundred $$$.

Those factory Customs sure are nice with the Damascus Blade.
Plumber Dave has a Custom Stag Paradigm. I believe he said the fellow is no longer doing them. I'd like Black G-10 on mine as well! Or perhaps stag..

Might not be worth it in the end. My knife cost me under $120 USD. The custom work might cost around $100. I just thought some one might already be offering them for the Paradigm Pro...for a "reasonable" price. Guess I'll leave my Buck Paradigm Pro the way it is. Another innovative knife to add to my collection.

Do prefer my ZT 560 as far as design, beefiness and the way it fits in my hand. Might buy more ZT's...or other tactical knives like it...not huge on "art folding knives".
