Replacement Grivory handle scales

I was wondering if anyone here knows where i could possibly get another set of grivory handle scales for my BK-2 or even two sets, i tried to contact Kabar directly but they said they cant help me, the reason why i want them, is to try doing some custom paint on them, but incase it didnt stick, i didnt want to ruin the only set i have for the knife. anything would help, thanks.

i see people selling spares cheap on ePray and other places... they probably upgraded to micarta and aren't looking back :)

Bladite,Isn't it strange that Kabar provides no parts? What if you accidentally break a handle slab? Would that be covered under warranty?

i'd imagine if you broke some, they'd help you out toot-swoot seafood-plate

then again, i'm surprised they don't have spares for sale. odd, but there you are.

i was surprised as well that they dont carry them as replacements, i guess youd be out of luck if they broke. i guess i will take your advice Bladite, moose, i dont have much for trade, maybe $? let me know, anyways. thanks alot for the responses everyone.
 
if they broke, they'd take care of you, no doubts

chances are, you'd have to drive a tank over them to break them though
