Replacement handle scales

I have a couple of old slip joint folders from a great grandfather in excellent condition save for the handle scales. Seems some wee creature thought these bone or antler scales were tasty and nibbled all over them. The scales are pinned and I think they can be replaced. Anyone know of a person to do such a repair?

Check out Don Seals. You should find him in the custom shop- services offered

This thread is worthless without pics.

I wish I could post pics. These two are probably made in the 50's by a small town German maker knife store owner named Karl Zah. Nothing spectacular but of sentimental value to me. New scales would be nice.

Let's see if I can fix this.

Ah. That's got it. I don't particularly care for Flickr. I use photobucket and find it much easier.

There's an excellent tutorial on taking pictures of knives as a stickie in the Bernard Levine Forum. Among other things, Bernard recommends turning off the flash to reveal more detail on the knife.
