Might try calling Tomars Kabars (a Bladeforum supporter) or Kabar customer service Monday. Neither list the 1277 sheath specifically on their websites, but I'd think they could round one up for you.
A few months back the sheath on my BK9 wore out and needed to be replaced. I scoured the internet looking for one, even posting in the for sale section. Then someone with more brains than I had suggested calling the KA-BAR customer service line, and asking them about a replacement. Turns out they carry replacements for all current production model knives, they simply don't list all of them on their website. Just call, tell them what you're after, and have your credit card ready.
