Currently using a brak river fox river EXT-2 and find myself wanting something a little bit shorter in overall length. I wish CRK would remake the Nyala. Any recommendations?

I have the White River Sendero Pack knife, designed by Jerry Fisk.

It's incredible.

And Yeah... CRK needs to put the Nyala back on the store shelf. I keep watching their site for a remake. A damn fine piece.

Overall greater than 9 inches, and a pretty thick blade of 3V is a large knife...
I would keep my eye out for SurviveKnives GSO series which can be had from about 3.5" blade of 3V and CPM-20CV and up in length...
I've had quite a few: 3.5", 4.1" and 5". The knife is usually 1/8" thick which will do anything you want.
The heat-treat is outstanding. The purchase time on a NEW knife is questionable, and I would just checkk the forum for as-new ones in the Exchange...
All of my "new" ones were actually used knives, but were NOT used...
I don't even know what would come in second place...they are THAT good.
You can expect to pay about 250 for an as-new knife, and they come up pretty often.
