I was thinking that all the Stretches should be the same size as far as the Kraton inlay goes.So I was wondering if someone could make perfitted replacement inserts for them and sell them. This way someone could just buy the inserts from the maker and glue them in thierselves.
I would love to put Ironwood or maybe CF in mine.
This question could also be put to Spyderco.I am sure there would be buyers if SFO stocked them as an accessory.

I would use either epoxy or super glue.It looks like the krayton is held in with epoxy.
I am going to have something like this done to mine if I can't do it myself. After 2 days carry the krayton along the sides of the clip is ripping.
This is the only thing I do not like about this knife.

I've read about trimming (probably with a razor or Exacto) the Kraton around the oval to ease draw/reclipping. Other users have written it is much less of an issue just by bending the clip a little looser. I have yet to get a Stretch user (have a collector) so I have not had a chance to experiment.

I think Jeff has the right idea here.

The Stretch has become one of my all time favorite EDU's. In fact .. I've been passing my favorite Endura over for the Stretch day after day. The Kraton is the ONLY thing about this knife that I might change. I'd be up for trying some other inserts as well. CF ... ironwood, cocobola .... whatever ...

Jeff, has Ron expressed interest in doing some of these?

Not that I have heard but I bet he could make some nice pocket change with them.
