Replacement items for lanyard specific beads

What are some things that could be used and will look correct/good instead of pricey lanyard specific beads?
I'd like to spruce up my ZT 0450 and already have some red paracord so something in aluminum to match the Ti scales would be cool.
Any pics/ideas would be appreciated.

I'm not sure why (IMO) spending $160 on a knife is OK but $25 on a bead is ludicrous. LOL.

I would say that you should go to one of the home depot, lowes, etc and look in their hardware bins for something that strikes you..All sorts of stuff in those that would probably look decent and for not alot of money.

Moving this to MT&E by the way.
