replacement plier component for gerber

Does anyone know where to get replacement parts for a gerber multitool? My pliers broke (yep the actual plier tip) and Gerber hasn't responded to my inquiry about replacement parts (2 days). The sliding mechanism just drops out via two screws on each side of the handle so it should be a plug and play switch. The tool is 15 years old, but I don't really want to buy a new one.

If it is covered by their lifetime warranty, you are going to have to send it in to them, to get repair, or more likely, replacement.

i have to send mine in for replacement when i get around to boxing them up. if you send a letter in asking for the old pliers to be returned you will get them back along with a new replacement set.
