Replacement Question

Hi Sal and everyone,

Recently I sent Spyderco my Jot Singh Khalsa back to Spyderco to fix the blade wobble on my unused knife. Spyderco promptly replaced the knife and I appreciate the prompt service.

My problem is: the replacement liner lock doesn't fully engage. It does if I flick open the knife but doesn't if I just use the thumb hole.

A while back I remember someone telling me that if I bang the blade on the spine it might help "set" the liner but I'm not sure if I should do this or just send the knife back.

Sal, please advise if I should try to "set" the lock or should I contact customer service on Monday for advice.

Thanks....and I do appreciate the help.

regards,

Kodiak~

I am sending UPS out to pick up your knife, and the day we get it back in here, we will replace it with another one. Sorry about that...sometimes one slips by.

The brain is a wondrous thing, I admit,
but please, keep it away from me
