Anyone know of replacement grips for BM Grippies other than the popular Wilkins and Cuscadi??? :)

You could try to get a hold of Keyman here on the forums. I don't know if he's currently taking orders but he usually posts in these type of threads showing off some of his work which appears to be top notch. I know there have been other members that have had scales made by him, but again, I have no idea as to his willingness to take on projects.

With that said, I do have experience with cuscadi and have nothing but good things to say. They do some excellent work and are a please to do business with.

Yeah I love Wilkins work but his stock is kind of limited right now to some not so desirable colors. I ve always wanted to try Cuscadi but they dont have a lot in stock right now either! I will seek this Keyman and see what he has to offer! Thank you!!

Cuscadi will make just about anything in their custom shop. Think it took about 2 weeks from the date I paid, until I had them in my hands.

Yup, the bulk of cuscadi's work is custom made to order pieces. Their material list changes based on availability but generally you have your choice of many colors of g10, micarta, carbon fiber, a material they call carbon fiber micarta which is like a cross between cf and g10, as well as several types of wood. You also have the option for contouring, milling, finishes like sand or bead blasting. Add to that a custom back spacer made in your choice of materials with several milling options such as a cog or reptilian pattern and you have a truly custom set of scales. They are also a bit cheaper than wilkins if that matters to you. Mine took a bit longer to get to me (about 6 weeks) but I imagine it all depends on their work load and wait times will vary. All in all, they are an excellent option if youre considering custom scales. I highly suggest you shoot Luke an email and get the process started.

Thanks I did email them! Wilkins only has some pretty ugly scales left and he doesnt plan on making more he said. Cuscadi looks like good stuff!!

Cant recommend Cucadi enough. Took a week for me to get my scales, although they did have the colors I wanted in stock.

Are all of Cuscadi's scales flat sided? I really like the way the Grip feels in my hand and I do associate that with the scales not being flat.

Nope. You can get them contoured or milled any way yiu want. CC'd contoured scales to match the contours of the stock scales? No problem. Anso style scalloping? Milled out divots like the Wilkins grips? Easy as pie. Basically you just have to ask, and as long as it's within their ability Luke will take care of you.

I just ordered some Cuscadis! I got them in their vintage contoured finish and I have a Benchmade 551H20 to go with the scales! I liked the look of the 551H20 as it has a grayish look to it. Im not familiar with the blade steel X15TN. I believe its some kind of french steel? I trust Benchmades choice of blade steels!! I must say that dealing with Cuscadi was much more pleasurable than Wilkins! They have been very professional and seem appreciative that you re doing business with them! As opposed to Kevin who is always very short with you. Almost get the feeling that you re bothering him?! He does excellent work though! Cuscadi is quite a bit cheaper than Wilkins as well! I will post pics of my new creation when its all done! Thanks for all your help!! :)

Congrats, youre gonna love them. Custom scales really take the grips to the next level. With regard to the x15tn steel, think of it as similar to the h1 spyderco uses in their salt series. Edge holding will be slightly better than h1 but not great overall, but its easy to sharpen, quite tough, and nearly rust proof due to the high nitrogen content. Its an all around good edc steel, especially if you are around water a lot or have a habbit of riding your blades hard and putting them away wet.
