Well, IMO, they're not the easiest knives to get apart. While there are some small parts, like most folding knives, there are no loose springs to shoot out and lose. The compression lock is just a bent leaf of one of the liners.
That said, in my experience, Spyderco’s screws can sometimes be finicky and easy to strip the torx openings if you don’t use the correct size tool and don’t have the toolhead seated deep enough. They are also sometimes judicious with their factory application of loctite. Finally, the lanyard tubes are flared a bit at the factory once the scales are press fit on, so the scales and liners can be kind of a pain to take off from the lanyard tube, but I’ve never had one I couldn’t get out with some elbow grease.
If this sounds too daunting, I’m not sure if Ripp’s (or any other company) offers install service, but they might.
