Hi!,

I recently started carrying my Stryker #910 again and just noticed this morning that one of the screws and inserts around the edge of the scales are missing. A couple of others were loose, I think going through the washer and dryer caused this as before I never had a problem. A Kershaw Chive came completely apart in the washer/dryer one time and they sent me a brand new knife when I collected the parts I could find and sent them back! Laugh! Do you think Benchmade would sell me the little torx screw and insert that I need to fix it? I know I cant find these little guys in the hardware store! Thanks for the help and suggestions?

Give them a call Kb. They might just tell you to send it in and they'll fix it for you. If you'd rather do it yourself, they should send you what you need.
Good luck
Joe

Benchmade's general policy is that they'll send out external parts--screws, clips, thumb studs, etc. If your "insert" is an internal part, then maybe no on that one. Joe's right, though, give them a call. The response is often better live, as you sometimes just get the "company line" by email.

Yup!!! When calling, you get an immediate reply......e mailing, not so much!
