Replacement Thumb Studs for CRKT

I owned quite a few of the CRKT folders and they are all good quality knives. The only thing that I don't like is the thumb stud, which is too big and get in the way.

So, had anybody find a good alternative for it. I am looking for a good low profile replacement, something like those on the Benchmade. It should also be cost effective, as I don't want to spend too much for these inexpensive knives.

Thanks, I saw that too, but the part and shipping will come to over $10, a bit pricey for a $30 knife.

Is there other more cost effectively solution?
 
Removing the stud, securing it in the chuck of your drill, and spinning it against a sharpening stone . . . $0

Now you are a custom knifemaker . . . Priceless.
 
I live 10 minutes from Koval's. Tell me which stud you want and I'll mail it to you. Substantially cheaper.

I think I'll try Lurker suggestion and customize the stud myself. Just can't resist becoming a custom knifemaker.
