Replacement Tools

I have a gerber suspension and have heard a few faint rumors about being able to change to tools by taking it apart and replacing them. Anyone done this? Where did you get the replacement tools?

No idea about the Gerber, but it is a feature of SOG multis and they sell the extra tools.
