Long story short, I already broke my delica clip :o

I don't feel too clever right now ;)

How much would the replacement assembly go for? Where might I get one?

Thanks

Dan

i'm absolutely DYING to know how you did this, NR, but i won't drag you over the coals. still, i'm sure there's a shocking/hilarious/bizarre story here somewhere.

Thats a bummer. You just got that knife didn't you? Don't feel too bad. The FIRST day I took my Sebenza to work I got out of the car and hooked the pocket clip on the seatbelt and bent the hell out of it. I was sick. I took it off and bent it back and luckily it looks almost like new. I would imagine you can get a replacement from Spyderco. Hell, accidents happen.

I feel my Delica is actually quite comfortable without the clip, from what I see in other threads you probably already tried it that way, when you get a replacement clip, don´t over tighten it, is that the one that got stepped on or was that your Gerber´s ???.

By the way, Happy Birthday.

Thanks Don =D

Yeah I was about to order that clip when I realized I liked it better without it!

The delica got stepped on. That post isn't in this thread, I hope I didn't post it in the wrong place? Woops!

I don´t remember where you posted those, I was browsing around the forums and saw them, but didn´t get to answer until I saw this one.

If you haven´t already done so, you may want to ask about the clip at the Spyderco froums. I rememeber the first Delicas with the plastic clip molded in, if it broke it couldn´t be replaced, you could cut and file down what was left of it, still made a good pocket knife.
