I recently discovered Zombie Tools and their blades and after seeing a review of the Reaver Cleaver (http://www.zombietools.net/shop/reaver-cleaver-2/) where it was quite successfully used on trees, I'm wondering if there would be disadvantages in using it instead of a fell axe (or, for that matter, ZT's Rat Bastard instead of a smaller axe, but for smaller sizes, ZT also has a proper axe, the Traumahawk).
This tool seems to have a very good edge, it has a slightly bigger weight than an average fell axe, enough so that it should have a nice momentum but not so that it's too hard to wield. I suppose the critical question is wether the size and curve of an axe's blade is needed when felling a tree (in the following video review, on a 6 or 7 inch dead tree, it doesn't look like a problem).

In the full review, the guy already mentions that metal transfers more vibration to the hands than a wooden handle, and that the leather grip could give you blisters in the long run. What do you think?
