For years I carried a Buck "SwissArmy Knife"
by Wenger. The model I had had a sissors on it. I found two Buck SAK (one for me one for my son) but they didn't have the sissors.
If anyone out there knows where I could find one ot these with the sissors I would be overjoyed. Also, I've heard that these were made with a better steel than Wenger generally used. Does anyone have the specs on these Buck SAKs? Thanks.

The (discontinued) models you refer to were marketed under the "SwissBuck" name. A Yahoo! search was pretty dry, I did find this though:

Perhaps the Buck forum in the manufacturer's area might turn up more action for you.

PS: Unless you have a sentimental attachment/loyalty to Buck, you should check out the Victorinox & Wenger lines. Abundant vqariations & abundant supply.

pirateye, there were several Swiss Bucks made with scissors. Their line was not anywhere near as extensive as Victorinox or Wegner but there probably a dozen or more variations. Which particular knife are you looking for---what else did it have other than blade and scissors? I think I'm may have a spare NIB with large and small blade, can opener, bottle opener. I also may still have a fishing version that had scissors. Not sure on that one I'll have to check. If you are interested let me know.

Welcome to the forums, pete! Good luck locating what you're looking for, and if you can't find one don't overlook Wenger and Victorinox. The Wenger Huntsman is my favorite SAK...and the LM Micra(in colors!) is about the coolest pair of scissors/assorted stuff that folds up and clips on keychain.
