Replacing blade

I have a couple knives a 110 & a 112 that I got custom. I got the mirror polish 420HC blades. But I don’t like them, does anyone know if Buck will let me pay extra to swap the blades for S30V? The website says they will only replace the same type of blade steel, but if I agree to pay the difference will they let me upgrade?
 
My understanding is that they will not but you might give them a call or message Jeff Hubbard.

Are people still speaking to Mr. Hubbard regarding Buck knife issues? All the emails I try get blocked, and there is a post from 1999 on here from him stating that he is leaving Buck and going to a small company as a CEO or something. Not sure how to reach this fellow.

If you want to contact him here, post a message with "@" followed by (no spaces) "Buck Knives Inc." in it and he will see it in his notification. If you're a paying member, you can send a private message to Buck Knives Inc..
